Zee Ann's First Birthday at Durbar@FMS, Ipoh

A sunny Sunday of 18th May, 2019. We celebrated baby Zee Ann's first birthday at the iconic Durbar FMS Ipoh. Together with dear friends Faith and Wee Liam, family and friends, as well as staff of Durbar@FMS.

An all out full scale dessert setup with a cupcake tower for a special baby. Conspiring with Jamie from @Inkedbyjamie, the most talented paper craft artist and calligrapher, in charge of all decorations and contributor of most of the pictures here as she was also the assigned photographer of the day.

There was even a clown, and not any clown, a lady clown. I think lady clowns look less scary.

Durbar is one of our Ipoh pride and joy. Being the first bar in Malaysia, founded by two Hainanese brothers, if you are looking for the traditional Hainanese Chicken Chop, it is one of the recommended item on its menu. My favourites are Lamb Cutlet as a sharing apperizer and Crepe Suzette (flambed in front of you), for whenever guests visits Ipoh.
